Action: Find Employment as a Teaching Assistant

I will be seeking employment as either a TA or an RA for the Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall 2022 semesters, and potentially Winter 2023 also, depending on how I feel about my accomplishments towards these two goals by that time, and whether or not I feel that I will have sufficient time to finish my MRP research and thesis paper during this semester if I add a TA/RA position on top of my MRP obligations.

What will I do to achieve this?

• Regularly check the OCAD job posting board for TA opportunities of interest
  • Currently ongoing in between the Fall 2021 and Winter 2022 semesters.
• Consult cohorts with TA experience for advise on applications
  • Planned (later in December, depending on availability)

Which goals will this action help me accomplish?

• Maximize current skill set
• Gain experience as an educator
• Develop academic and professional network

What resource(s) will I need to be successful?

I must continue to build my network in order to discover the most suitable opportunities, and to improve my chances at successfully applying to TA positions (through consultation of those with experience).
